Leadership

Developing Humility

Read Galatians 6:3-5.  If you believe we are to spiritually mature to fall, we should beware!  The Bible portrays the sins of past spiritual leaders as a warning to us to reamin humble and open to correction.  We each need to reassess our personal walk with God in honesty before Him.  Each of us will be held responsible for our actions and attitudes.

ACTION: Be sober in your self-assessment.  Employ only Jesus’ life and teaching as your standard for judgement, not the performance of others.

Steps to Fulfilled Vision

Read Genesis 39:4-21.  Joseph was faithful to a vision.  His life proves that vision restrains people from sin (Prov. 29:18).  Because he believed what God had shown him, he remain steadfastly faithful and loyal in all his relationships, especially with God.  Individuals who are faithful to God’s vision will enjoy favor with Him and with others and will succeed in their endeavors.  In the end they will realize their vision, experiencing vindication in spite of any adversity they may have faced.

TAKE ACTION: Expect God’s favor in sight of others.  He grants favor an success to the faithful.  Remain faithful to God in all you do.  Do not compromise, especially when your vision is slow in coming.
